My Education
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Finance from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Later, I pursued a Master of Arts degree in Jungian and Archetypal Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpenteria, California, where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. My doctoral dissertation is a transdisciplinary investigation into the material reality of projected images.
My Vocation
My work explores the intersection of psyche and matter, blending depth psychology with modern physics. Concepts such as the Complexio Oppositorum, the Mysterium Coniunctionis, synchronicities, and the nature of Time are central to my research. I examine numbers as symbols, mathematics as a language, the erotic dimension of energy, and the somatic nature of projections. A core aspect of my work is the call for a deeper intimacy with the rituals and sacred meanings embedded in the Christian myth—examining how these ancient stories resonate in contemporary culture. Raised Catholic, I am committed to advocating for the restoration of the lost feminine in the ongoing evolution of consciousness.
I am led by the quiet thread of synchronicity, yielding with open heart to both rapture and grief. In this hallowed space of surrender, transformation takes root—born of the sacred dance between ruin and rebirth. As Marie-Louise von Franz so wisely writes:
“The fire has to burn. One just has to burn in the emotion until the fire dies down and becomes balanced. That is something which unfortunately cannot be evaded. The burning of the fire of the emotion cannot be tricked out of one's system; there is no recipe for getting rid of it—it has to be endured. The fire has to burn until the last unclean element has been consumed. If one is filled with 10,000 devils, one can only be burnt up in them until they quiet down and are still.”
A Fusion of Science and Meaning
My journey is rooted in science and comparative religion. As C.G. Jung once expressed:
“My interests drew me in different directions. On the one hand, I was powerfully attracted by science, with its truths based on facts; on the other hand, I was fascinated by everything to do with comparative religion. In science, I missed the factor of meaning, and in religion, that of empiricism.”
This duality shapes how I understand the world. I seek to weave together the empirical and the mystical, the logical and the symbolic. My writing reflects this integration, expressing emotional phenomena through both metaphor and logic.
